The Tortosa train station forms part of the middle-distance network which joins the main coastal towns by the Barcelona-Tortosa and Valencia-Tortosa lines.

The Aldea-Amposta-Tortosa station also has a long distance train stop for the lines of the Mediterranean Corridor (Barcelona-Alicante) and for the lines from Barcelona to Andalusia. In this case, you have to take a taxi or a HIFE company bus to Tortosa, since the station is 10 km from the city.
